Chris Marine was founded in 1986 as a brokerage office for shiprepairs, shiprepair management, sale and purchase and shipbuilding. Despite the difficulties of the shipping industry in the eighties, Chris Marine managed to succeed thanks to the experience of both of its Managing Director Mr. C. Papatheodorou, who worked on behalf of German interests as a Consultant Engineer for Shipbuilding and Shiprepairs in Hamburg and London and thanks to its experienced team.

Nowadays a considerable number of well known shipyards have appointed Chris Marine, as their exclusive Marketing Agent. Since its establishment Chris Marine has become a familiar name internationally for first class services and marketing support for both shipowners and shipyards alike.
